Stupid angels. (Note that I spelled that angels and not angles.)
:hmm3grin2orange:
This is my mated pair and she is one witch! Even as they are spawning, she has stop what she's doing to go over and beat up on the male a bit more. Everyday/all day. I wish he's stop being such a whimp and tear into her just once.
They're not very pretty. Too much cross-breeding in these have left them nearly stripless.

I think they are pretty nice. Well developed. I have added 8 angels to my tank also. I mentioned to my gilrfriend about how you cut your nose with the razor and she and I both are wondering how you managed that. Kinda curious to know. Talk soon.:22: thumbs2:

Great Picture! I have been very lucky with my angels. I have never had any of my angels fight really bad. My current angels are still a little young though, so they could pair up and fight... I hope not lol. Anyway, I think your angels look great!

:hmm3grin2orange: Naw. It's commonly mis-spelled.
Lumber is cut on angels and their tropical fish are angles.
I think they look nice too. thumbs2:
Man...there are some words that I just automatically spell wrong everytime. not sure why.
I'm also chatting on a weight-loss forum...
Lose, loose, and loss are all problem words...
...and so are weight, weighed, wait, waste and waist...:hmm3grin2orange:

Maybe it's the make-up romance that he's hanging around for...?

I am having to question myself why I keep this female around. I'm tired of her constantly nipping at him. I don't want spawns so see no reason to even have her. I might take her to my sons and drop her in his tank with the other big male I gave him but he doesn't keep up on his tank so I am hesitant to do so. However, my other angel is fine in his tank along with the featherfin and 30 tetra's I gave him.
I wonder sometimes how any have survived when he's done like two water changes now in 4 months, doesn't clean his filter, doesn't do much of anything, really. I planted his tank and he can't even remember to turn his lights on. *sigh

I can understand on the water changes, daily/weekly arent nessecary even for the most delicate of species as long as there is a balance it will be ok for a portion of time.
Like I said I had two of my blues go at it yesterday (if I said unsure lol) however this morning I wake up to a dead GBR with its lower jaw ripped off, yesterday another male GBR was DOA due to unvisible causes. Ive lost 3 GBR's to fighting in my 210 yet in my 52 where I got 3 pairs of rams and a pair of curviceps and there is no fighting.
If you arent interested in spawning them, give her up and get another male. They appear to be less aggressive when in a fraternity rather then co-ed.

Not cleaning a filter can work well in your favor (ie the fish) for some time. Try giving him (ie. install it yourself or it won't be done) a cheap timer for the lights - I have one for both my lights (early morning and later afternoon till night)and for an air pump (bubbler for extra O2 only at night when the fish and plants compete.)
As long as he changes the water some times, many fish (as long as there are some plants) will good very well. One of the main reasons I was successful as a child/teen for long peroids of time with my fish before the finally (duh) massive die offs.
