Here is what it looks like after 4 months.

Plants are doing good except for the water wisteria, it grows well but the leaves are weak and droopy. don't know what is wrong with them.

Fishes have been good so far. schools of neon tetras, rasboras and rummynoses. 4 SAE, a chinese algae eater and 2 Bolivian rams.

And this is from the setup day to show the progress.

Nice and natural...I like it :22: What is that stem sticking out of the water in the first photo?

Thanks Jenn.

Well thats a plant I couldn't ID! I can post more and closer pictures if it can help IDing it.

It is super fast growing, 1 ft per month and is 4 ft tall now ( 2 ft above the water surface )
It seems when it gets too tall or goes out of the water, its lower leaves start dying! or maybe some of its requirements are not met in my tank.

Thanks everybody!

The main stem of the long plant is placed in the back of the tank. in the first month it reached the surface then I cut it in half and placed the second half in the front ( the one you can see ) within a month it grew to the air again. I couldn't find another place to cut and put it in so I just decided to let it be!!

some of the giant hygros also grow out of the water, I had one 1 ft over the water but they die after a while. this long one is very hardy.

I looked at my new pictures and this is the only one that contains the whole plant! lol

I'm of course, the last person to give plant advice, specially as yours seem to be doing well! What ferts are you using?

I use Iron, Exel and Potassium...

Any advice is most welcome!

Seachem products are kind of rare and pricey over here. I can't even find the Prime! :ssuprised:

I have used a liquid fert called MicrobeLift Bloom & Grow from the beginning, but not on a regular basis. it says once or twice per week, at first I was using it like that but now I'm using it once in every 2 weeks.
this thing seems to be very rich in plant nutrients, but I don't know how good it works.

Also I got a root fert called 'Crypto' from Tetra. I used it 2 months ago ( 2 months after setup ) and then again 2 weeks ago.

Wow, that tall plant is amazing, I would love to know what it is if anyone ever figures it out.
