Why can't my shrimp swim? all the legs and claws, feelers are working he just can't swim or get off his back?He can still flip in the water though. I had him in the net for feeding, and let him out!Do you think if I keep him in the net for a spell, it will help him?He seems to like being close to the air stone bubbles.

Unfortunately I have to agree, it may have been injured in transport or sick, but if it cant move around to graze then it is probably not far from the reaper.

My guess would be injury, fish in the tank?

I had the tank blacked out for a few days, had 5 molly fry but now they're all gone and I couldn't find the shrimp for a day and when he showed up he was a little immobile in the swimming category. His feet and arms still move in rapid succession. Like it's running on a tread mill even. Now my guess is, he may have been rammed by one of the cory cats in the darkness. seems like he wants to recover but somethings not right...lol

From what I've seen, ghost shrimp aren't the best or most active swimmers, especially when compared to amanos or cherries.

Unless there are obvious signs of injury, I wouldn't be too worried.
