I am attaching some pics.
I have 2 Blue Dwarf Gouramis. They are beating the hell out of each other lately and now one of them has white looking bald spots is the best way I can describe it?

is it just silvery like he lost some color on his fins, a pale white, or cottony?

dude i lost 3 blues to something that looks just like that. i could not get rid of it and after almost 3 weeks they died. i hope it's not he same stuff but from the pix it looks like it. i never knew what it was and tried several different things to treat it to avail. so i suggest separating them into another tank. good luck.

Crap, thats bad. i lost a few gouramis to that. They suddenly got half their body pale and died within a hour. Try to separate them and put in 80F temp.

Fish will often annoy the heck out of another fish that are ill or in a weakened state.
Others with disagree with my view point here but I tend to feel it's easier and more practical to destroy an ill fish before others can be affected. It can get to be a hassle doctoring up and paying for meds to treat a $2.00 fish. By the time you have paid out $10-15 for meds, you could have replaced this fish with 6 healthy ones. NO! I don't like this, either, but you have to consider the rest of your fish as well.
If anything, I would add some salt to the tank and see if his condition improves. If you have others that don't appreciate the salt, you could add this ill one to a pail of tank water, treat with salt and add an airstone and leave him there for a few days. Some bacterial condition will improve with the use of salt.
