I have a tank full of many different Tetras. This applies only to the Black Skirt Tetra.

On the bottom side of one of my long fin black Tetras their is 3 little tiny like bubbles underneath the skin. Also on one of the Black Skirt Tetra's their is on the front fin at the base of the fin their is a black bubble like growth starting.

Is anyone familar with this type of possible situation. If so, what possibly could this be and what to treat with.

I started treatment with Professional Strength Melafix last night. I understand that most medicines with Tetras should be at half strength.

Sounds like gas bubble disease. It can be caused from too large water changes or changing water of too different temps.

Thanks for the info. I'll keep an I on them. Water temp never changes. I always use the bucket to fill and use a Thermomiter to keep it exact.
