Hello,
I'm shopping around for a new light I will use for my planted aquarium and I found one I really like, a Powercompact light. However, I am not sure if it will fit my tank.
You can see the light here >>

My tank measures 30 inches wide and the light size is also 30 inches, but the fixture dimension on the websites says it is 31 inches. Will this light fit on top of my tank? I do not want an inch of light radiating the floor.
Thanks.

As long as you have a standard tank it should fit

It's fine. You will need to get a daylight bulb though (between 6700k and 10000k), as the fixture comes with a 50/50 bulb, and actinic really does not do much. The light will not spill over in any case, as the bulb is only about 22 inches long (same bulb as the 24" fixture)
