Octocinclus Catfish - Big Belly

my oto has a big belly and is not movving any ideas?
been perched ontop of the skull for 2 hours not stuck on by mouth just on his belly

It sounds very bloated!
Try feeding some blanched peas.Peel them and squish them first.I doubt it will eat them but its worth a try.
Was eating normally before?

Normally a fat Oto is a very good thing, might be loaded with eggsthumbs2:

Yeah, I've heard on here before that a fat otto is a happy otto. If you can post some pics, I'm sure someone would be able to tell if it's "good fat belly" or "not-so-good fat belly".

i have 3 one is skinny one is a lil fat the the other is huge. will try n take some pics

nice round white belly = very healthy. not moving is normal. if you turn off the lights and sit a metre away you will see them moving. they normally don't move when you stick your face up against the glass or if the light is too bright with no where to hide.

i have a 4ft tank with 10 otos and they swim around all the time and don't care if i look at them right up close against the glass. but if you only have 3 and in a small tank chances are they will hide more but nothing to worry about at all.
