Looking to get into breeding, but I want fish that don't eat their fry. Considering angels, looking for a small fish, nothing big and relatively easy to maintain. What do you recommend?

Cories come to mind. I used to have a breeding group of albinos and I was up to my ears in baby cories. Pretty easy to hatch and raise IMO as long as you get the eggs out before they start chowing down on them.

Will the pair have a tank to themselves..? how big is the tank? Jewels cichlids are great parents and easy to breed..

Yeah, the pair will have the tank to themselves. Havent got the tank yet, but nothing over 100G, preferably under 50G. Will look into the Jewels, how do they fare in a planted tank?
I'm looking to have a planted tank, dont want them ripping it up completely....have had a lot of luck with a planted tank and goldfish btw.
Thanks a lot for the advise...
Cheers.
