I've wanted to start keeping and breeding giant bettas ever since my first mutant red died a few years ago. That was just a randomly occurring mutation from a non selective breeding.

The selectively bred giants however, are much much more.. Does anyone here keep these ?

I've never heard of giant bettas before but the pics are amazing! they're huge!
Are they more docile than standard bettas?

There is a website called http://www.giantbettasworld.com/index.php?lay=show&ac=article&Id=538642998&Ntype=1

Its cool to see two males sharing the same tank. Its also neat to see the size difference between the two.
Let me know if you get any.

I'm pretty sure that they're the same thing as a king betta.
Sometimes my petco will have them, so maybe you could check there

I see that this post started over a year ago. Is there anyway to find these giant bettas? These are GREAT!!!

If anyone can provide links to find them I'd appreciate it.

The wasanbetta.com doesn't work or I can't find any bettas on there.

Giant bettas seem to be in the $65-100 range.. don't want to think about what that would be after shipping, but god, they're beautiful aren't they? If I had a few hundred dollars lying around I'd pick up a few. I'm amazed!
