I'm a new member who's been keeping fish on and off since i was 19, now 48 i've mainly had community tanks only fresh water though, dont really like the idea or expence of marines. What i would like to ask is does anybody know if my 6 foot aquarium would be ok if i move it to an alcove that is exactly 6 foot would the sides crack when it is filled on any sugestions how to stop it happening would be greatly appreciated

Thanks for reading

Keith

Welcome to the Fabulous AC!:22:
It should be ok!lol
If the tank is forced into the space.
If there are no corners touching the glass.
If its drywall that is up against the glass, just touching.
The sides do not usually bulge much, its the front and back that do.
A tank with at least 1/2" glass is what I would use.
