Jewel Enjoys New Home

Here's my second fish, Jewel. He's in the living room tank, and just like my other betta, has a 6-gallon tank all to himself. I had originally planned to get guppies, but I when I saw the bettas in the LFS, they were so spectacular I couldn't pass them up!

Both of my tanks have a combination of silk, plastic, and live plants.

I bet hes probably happy that you took him in, instead of someone whos going to put him in those little plastic betta tanks! He also has great colors by the way !

He definitely looks happy! Swims in and out of his cave, all around the plants, looks alert whenever anyone passes by the tank. One part of his tank is near a dark bookcase, which must be giving him a reflection through the glass, because he flares when he goes to that side of the tank.

Hope I can get better with my photography to really show off the colors!
