If it eats 5 at a time then do that twice a day.Increase as it grows.
A varied diet is best.If you plan on feeding live then start a feeder tank so you can make sure its getting healthy feeders.

A 55 should work with good maintenance. These are messy eaters, and should be given a varied diet. I have kept several of these since they are native here and can say without a shadow of a doubt they are one of the most aggressive freshwater fish I have ever seen. Make sure you have a tight fitting lid as they are good at escaping.

Why bother getting a 55.A 75 is a much better fit.
If the fish doesn't get stunted it should easily outgrow the 75.I have never had one but keeping a fish that can grow 20" in a does not sound right.
Thats just my opinion, its your fish.
The ten is also way too small now for that fish.

I agree that the 75 would be a lot better tank for this fish, but it can work in a 55, provided you have adequate filtration and keep up your water changes. The resaon I say this is simply because these fish are not very active at all. None of mine were active swimmers and preferred to sit in one spot. However, they can move lightning fast when feeding. Keep in mind though what I'm saying.. only get the 55 if you have no other choice and are prepared to do the extra work.

A wolf fish can grow up to 2 feet, mine wont eat massivore pellets or any pellets for that matter. He'll ONLY eat feeders which sucks. But if you plan to keep him long term i'd suggest you get a 100G+ in the next 5-10 years haha. Good luck, they're wicked fish!

Wolf Fish are extremely easy to feed as they will try to eat anything that fits into their mouth. They should only be feed meaty food.Wolf Fish are best feed at night. They are very productive and one spawning can result in over 10 000 fry. The fry is very aggressive and predatory and have to be sorted according to size to prevent them from eating and killing each other The fry grows very fast and can reach 30 cm / 1 foot in just over 6 months..
