I have had my tank for 6 years and have done fairly well just winging it.
I have a statement and a question.
I just bought an African Frog and 2 Mickey Mouse Platy's after not adding anything for over a year.... and upon them entering the tank, my 4 year old Angel just up and died along with one of the Platy's...I am guessing shock?Pretty POd.
Anyway nitrites and ammonia are good and nitrates meet the color scale that my kit shows. PH fluxes but stabilizes. I use distilled water from the store.
My question is I have been reading about frozen food and veggies and decided to buy some daphnids from PetsMart. I then read on Hikari food website that this is mostly for fry and a sick tank.
Is this OK for a normal tank and how (thawing) and how much should I feed the following tank setup
2 Blue Dwarf Gourami's
1 Mickey Mouse Platy
3 rasorbora....3 of my first 4 fish after 6 years!
1 Spotted balck and white Molly
1 Pleco
1 spotted Cory
5 neon tetra
The Food is Hikari Bio Pure Daphnids in 3.5oz cubes
Thanks
