Mini Java Fern... LOL

This is one of the babies I picked off the Java Fern I have in the 20 gallon. Aside from burying the root that is sticking up on the right side ( ignore the Anubia in the background) is there anything else I need to do to it or for it?

I'm curious to see if it will grow into a adult plant.

It will rot if you leave it buried like that. It should grow as long as you do not bury it. I leave my little plantlets on the mother plant and let them fall off by them selves.

Yep, they dont grow when buried. tie it to something with a little bit of fishing line.
