if you havent seen the saw movies they would be a good choice, and a new movie coming out soon called "see no evil" looks to be good

William

The Usual Suspects is rather good. I will have to look into the saw movies. Hadnät even heard of them.

Watched Lord of War yesterday which was rather good.

well about the saw movies (Saw 1 & Saw 2) are quite gory movies i must warn you incase you are not into that, but i admire the movie for the traps he makes, you'll understand what i mean if you see it

If you like Johnny Cash, then Walk the Line is a very good movie.

William
04-19-2006, 07:49 PM
I tell you whet I think about the saw movies once I've seen them.

I do have Walk the line but have never been a large country fan so I haven't seen it yet. That said there are good country music. Do you think I will like it even if I'm not really a Cash fan?

SCOOTER
04-19-2006, 07:57 PM
Yes, I think you will. Have you ever listened to Johhny Cash? I'm not a big country fan either, but I really like his music.

William
04-19-2006, 08:14 PM
I have listen to some of his music but I could give him more of a chance. I have found what I listen ok but it haven't triggered me to search deeper. Perhaps I should give him another chance.

How was scary movie 4? I mean the first one was ok, not good but ok, but the rest of them haven't really been worth the time.

I can't believe not one person has said to watch Baseketball!!! Best movie ever.

William
04-20-2006, 02:34 AM
Perhaps not the best movie ever but it is good. Let me guess that you like orgazmo to than.

NorthernBoy
04-20-2006, 02:36 AM
It's good but no baseketball. Office Space and Clerks. Chasing Amy. Super Troopers all winners.

William
04-20-2006, 02:43 AM
I actually forgot about supertroopers, never saw that one. Thanks

And yes they are all good allthough I think Chasing Amy isn't up to their usuall low standard.

William
04-20-2006, 06:18 PM
Do I need to se tha Saw movies in the right order?

NorthernBoy
04-20-2006, 06:48 PM
No but it may help. The first is much better than the second.

Full3R
04-20-2006, 08:01 PM
True, the first one makes you think more but both good movies which give ya brain a think and has good twists

selfs_echo
04-20-2006, 08:04 PM
If you don't see the Saw movies in order, it gives away the ending, I'd say. The first is best in my opinion, tho. :]

Saw Hostle the other night (just came out I think), and it was about on par with Saw, though less twists and such. If you like gore, then it may be worth a watch.

William
04-20-2006, 09:10 PM
Hostel. The tarantino movie?

And, I'll wait and se Saw 1 first. If it has a lot of twist I think I prefer not knowing the ending. I'll just se two for the money first.

William

DemonShark

William
04-21-2006, 01:33 AM
As I said. not that found of war movies. If you want to se a good try Wallstreet or fightclub, or american history X, or Matrix (not the crap called matrix 2 and 3)

NorthernBoy
04-21-2006, 03:13 AM
If you like fight club you should read the book "Choke". Chuck Palhunuk(sp?) wrote them both. He has a new book out too which I read but can't remember the name. Choke and Fightclub are MUCH MUCH better books than movies.

William
04-21-2006, 05:03 AM
Thats usually true. Unfortunatly a book take longer to read than the movie take to watch. Which also is why the books are better because they tell you more of the story.

I'll keep "Choke" in mind

NorthernBoy
04-21-2006, 05:12 AM
I read choke on a plane on 1 leg of a trip from San Francisco to Turino. Although I was flying Luftansia in business class and the seat wouldn't recline so I couldn't sleep.

William

You seem to be traveling a greta deal. May I ask what you do?

NorthernBoy
04-21-2006, 06:38 AM
No I don't travel enough. I was a chef for the last ten years and traveled to europe some for work. Before I was married I moved alot around the country. Wanted to see as much as I could. I was pretty restless for awhile. I moved to Minnesota from California 2.5 years ago. I lived in the same house here for that time and it is the longest I have ever stayed in one spot. I like to travel though.

William
04-21-2006, 06:42 AM
Hmmm A scuba diving chef. Perhaps I should make it up to your area ;-)

NorthernBoy
04-21-2006, 06:50 AM
This year I plan on doing a lot for freshwater snorkeling. Lakes here can be deep but along the edge of the weed line close to the shore you can see large schools of bluegills, crappy's and a few perch walleye and pike. Going too deep depresses me. People here used the lakes as trash dumps for a long time.

NorthernBoy
04-21-2006, 06:51 AM
wait...a scuba diving chef that plays cards!

William
04-21-2006, 07:56 AM
Oh that’s right ;-)

I agree that shallow water usually is more fun to dive/snorkel in. More to see. But it can be fun to go deeper sometimes to. One of my best dives was a deep dive on which I encountered some dolphins and tune at a depth of about 130-150 ft.

William
04-23-2006, 10:13 PM
