I decided to look at this site to try and help me with a problem I am having. that and the site looks full of information and help. I hope I can get some help.

I have 5 tanks:

1 - 55g - with mixed community fish and a loach.
2 - 10g - holding tank for female live bearers
3 - 20g - 5 angels
4 - 28g - suppose to be only Central convicts
5 - 59g - baby tank (from guppies, platies and mollies) too many

But my from is my Central convict take I just moved the fish out to put in only central convicts because I heard they are interesting to watch. Well I bought 6 convicts. Everyone said they were central convicts. Now I found out they are both types of convicts, central and southern. How do you tell the two apart. I want babies from my central but from what i understand that they will not breed if the both are mixed. Please help.

Welcome to the forum. That is some Multi tank syndrome that you have there. I am not experienced with cichlids, but I am sure someone who is will be along shortly. Until then welcome.

Welcome to AC. I think if you ask your question about your cichlids in the cichlid thread you will get more answers to your questions.

Looks like you will be needing more large tanks for those angels and convicts, tho.
