I just found two of my 1.5 inch baby sevs liplocked in battle. Do they do that this young?

My oscars did that at a young age.I have never seen them actually do it again since but they do have their grumpy days.

It was the freakiest thing ever. They are so tiny! My acara was watching and urging them on no doubt.

Their just practicing for when they get bigger!lol
If it continues and happens often you may have to rehome one unless its just play and no injuries are happening.

I agree. Probably two males fighting for territory. I am surprised at them doing that young, like said though cichlids will be cichlids.

Well, it was the first time Ive seen it happen and they havent been at it since, so I think its safe for now
