my Pinoy Veil female angel

hey guys. you've seen my mated pair of angels, now meet my other domestic angel. I barely have pictures of her up because it's very difficult to photograph her...she's black but the flash makes her look brown!
anyways, today while doing our water change noticed she was showing a lot of color in her fins and crown, so I thought to try to capture it. keep in mind the flash enhances the color in the crown but not too much.

If you're interested in their background check out Ken Kennedy. It took a LOT of work to breed them and he deserves a LOT of credit. thumbs2:

I agree. he's a very nice and helpful guy too. i have two fish that are F1 from his own fish. this pinoy and my blue smokey. both came to my through David at AngelfishUSA...and David has every kind of strain that Ken has developed so far...and seeing those first generation breeders is impressive thumbs2:

i think in the last 3 years we've seen more new strains and more progress in angelfish breeding that in the last decade, and i'm really looking forward to the next 5 years or so. i expect several new strains will come out from Ken in the Phillipines, but also from Neil in Hawaii and from the farms in Asia...
