OH MY JESUS I REALLY NEED HELP! I just came to aware of it that my last fish died the same way... My boodfin tetra got extremely bloated, it went down, then a couple of days ago I woke up and BOOM! It's dead. I'm worried if my molly is going to end up the same way. He is so unique. He has a Hitler Stache (Sorry if I offended you). Also, he goes my Adolf Fishler (Again, sorry if I offended you).

I'm going to get rid of my guppies. They are such horndogs!

The picture is a little hard to tell from, but it looks very pregnant to me! Can you post a nother pic? If it is a female, chances are it's preggo!

You can however, get some peas (frozen(thawed) or canned) and take the shell off. Then you can kinda smoosh it up and feed it to your fish. All your fish can eat it, won't harm them. Peas give a laxative effect on fish. Couple times a week should help.

I only have one Molly though so I highly doubt it's pregnant. I'll try the pea trick.

Gez ol' petes. Calm down. She looks pregnant to me. Mollys and platies are both hogs and over eat. Let her fast for a couple days with only the peas and don't over fed.

I feed my fish about 2 -3 times a day in small amounts. Every 3 days I give them a block of bloodworms.

It does not hurt for livebearers to have a day of fasting one day a week. They're eat as long as you feed them.

It is good to fast your fish once a week.Especially if they are overfed.

Guppies WILL mate with mollies, their babies are called gollies or muppies. So if you did have male guppies they likely impregnated her. I also agree that 3 times a day is a little much. Dropping it down to once or twice a day with a fasting day is usually a good idea.

I didn't know they interbreed!

Also, mollies can hold sperm for MONTHS so that could be a thought too.

Three times per day is kinda much. I feed mine once in the morning and once at night. You could also try mixing up what your feeding. Like, I switch it up between freezedried bloodworms, shrimp, frozen brine shrimp, flakes and I recently got some of those algae sheets and and a clip for a little green food for my mollies.

Yea the sperm is also a possiblity as well. Like mules, muppies/gollies are sterile, supposively.

Although it's in another forum (sorry!) there is one person trying to experiment with them. It has some pictures of what they look like
