I have been so blessed lately. I have been given gifts of BBA, green algae spots on glass and now this stuff growing under the leaves of my java.
What is this stuff. It's looks like brown shredded wheat?
I will say the Excel got rid of the BBA without over-dosing to the hilt and endangering my fish. Thanks Dave.

That's what they are LH .....setting off little root systems. Once there are a few leaves you can pluck and tie them on to something.

Oh swell! I ripped half of them off. I mean, why would I possibly think I would grow roots when I'm so good at algae.

I have those on my Java Fern that is in the 20 gallon. I just let them sprout new leaves. :hmm3grin2orange:
Once I get some more normal leaves, I'll clip the weird ones off.
