I've often been frustrated when attempting to get a decent picture of any of the schoolers.

I just discovered tonight, however, that if I turn off the tank light, plunge the rest of the room in darkness, and utilize the flash, I can generally capture the little buggers. Here are three. The ember tetras still do not photograph well.

And yes, the lonely green neon tetra was a leftover from a previous now perished school. He has been adopted by the white cloud minnows, oddly enough, and the relationship appears mutual.

Your moss looks awesome. Seems to always die off when I have it. I'm trying some with added iron to the water now just to see if it helps. Good job. Fish look very happy.

Thank you :ssmile:

The moss is Christmas moss. I love it and could never go back to java moss now. I use a small dash of Flourish Comprehensive about once a month, my water is super soft, and I've got 2wpg in compact fluorescent lighting. Other than that, I just let it do its thing.

It anchors really well, and seems to have more fluff than java moss. The few times I've tried java moss, it just got all stringy and brownish in the tank.
