I've often been frustrated when attempting to get a decent picture of any of the schoolers.
I just discovered tonight, however, that if I turn off the tank light, plunge the rest of the room in darkness, and utilize the flash, I can generally capture the little buggers. Here are three. The ember tetras still do not photograph well.
And yes, the lonely green neon tetra was a leftover from a previous now perished school. He has been adopted by the white cloud minnows, oddly enough, and the relationship appears mutual.
