Although I thought he was doing well, I woke up this morning to find my Elephant nose fish dead... From what I have been reading, I think these fish are just not meant to be kept in captivity.


So heres my question to you all... What would you recommend for a good centerpiece oddball fish for my tank(see my sig for current stocking.) Rarity is no issue, as my fish dude can pretty much get anything.

That would all depend on the size of your tank.

its a 36 gallon bowfront... would the head stander be compatible with my community fish?

I would make sure you have enough of each type of schooling fish, first. Corries and mollies do best in groups of at least 6 of the same species.
