A betta and a siamies fighting fish? Is there a difference at all? They both look pretty much the same.. here in england ive never seen a betta for sale or anything but the fighters are quite common.

Betta splendens is the scientific name of the Siamese Fighting Fish...

...and it's pronounced 'bet-tah'...

...not 'bay-tah'...

...that's how you pronounce beta...as in alpha, beta, gamma...
