a all new dumb question...
Couple of questions about betta
Betta Lover 2104 said: A male and female betta fish in the same tank won't attack each other no matter what, right?
How do you know if a betta fish is male or female?
Also does a clownfish get along well with a regular betta fish?

People need to READ about each individual fish. If they guy went to google and typed in info on clown fish, he would know that a) theyre saltwater, and b) bettas are FW

Much easier to have others do research for you than to do it yourself. Googling takes a lot of work

You know who I blame a lot for these kind of question??
Walt Disney because they made that movie "Finding Nemo":jaws:
In this flick the fish in the tank told Nemo that being washed down the toilet means freedom for them (cause its a free ride back to the sea). I really dont want to know how many kids washed their dearest fish down the toilet, cause they wanted it to live a free and happy life in some pond or river. And thats only ONE example.
And I dont want to know how many Clownfish had to die or live a miserably very short life, cause of the Nemo-hype that followed after the movie.

It is disney and some movies but it can be a double edged sword. This also got lots of people into fish keeping (successfully without harm to the fish) and then it killed off other fish.
