New mystery Snails

I just got back from my lfs with 2 new mystery snails. Well I kinda saved em..I guess. They were two of the few snails who survived. The lfs put about 50 snails in with a few coreys or something, and those fish ate almost all of them. Anyways, I have one black mystery snail and one gold. I was wondering if anyone knew how long it should be until i have a baby snail in my tank, its a 25g with about 9 plants total, if it mathers..

Today, I also went to a near wal-mart and looked at their fish section. I was really amazed at the fish they have, and how clean their tanks are, filled with healthy fish. They had a bunch of baby cichlids, like 1cm baby Jack Dempseys and angels..

Anyways, If anyone has an idea on how long I should wait for before expecting baby snails :)

Mystery snails are either boy or girl...

...if you have 2 boys you're out of luck...if you have 2 girls that aren't pregnant you're out of luck...

Aww, i guess ill have to get more then..Well even if i have a male and a female how long would it take before the female laid eggs?

I think that depends on how often they encounter each other in the tank and whether the female was already pregnant. Good question, hopefully someone will have additional information on this.

Yeah..Im guna go buy 3 more so i have a total of 4...My gold one decided to climb onto the filter tube, put its head in it, and jump down at the same time...results? Snail without head.

I had another jumper overnight...

...he's alive, but his shell is severely cracked...


...he's back in the tank, but I don't know how it's going to heal...

rue, i read somewhere that for shell cracks theres some kind of glue you can use on the snail
