If a new 10g tank costs $40...and a brand new fish costs $10 (let's try and do CDN)...and supplies cost another $40...

I can bring it up to $90...but it's used, so the price drops...

I'd be hard pressed to buy it for $30...

lol, those people were WHACK. They said that the puffer was big. SO WHAT? If i buy a small pleco for 7$ at a store, and come back in 3 years when hes fullgrown, they wont buy it for 120$. chances are they would give me 14$. so, for a fully set-up used 10g, id say 35$ is fair, and the fullgrown puffer 20$ MAX, so 55$ is most they should get

I TOTALLY FORGOT this, but i was emailing her and asked her why the price was so high. She said she spent ALOT in cycling, and i asked her what she cycled the tank with... gold? She said she kept buying fish, and yadayadayday, and i dont really remember what she said. Then i told her she could of cycled it with a $1 bottle of ammonia. Her EXACT response (edited for the children) "You've got to be F!#&*!@ kidding me!". Then i said, "yup". I also told her that when you sell something, you dont add in prices of things that that are no longer with the item, and told her the max she should be able to sell it for was $75. Then she wouldnt talk to me anymore.

edmonton has alot of nuts, a couple of examples that happened today...

I went to a store, and in the parking lot a hobo was asking people for money. He went to a security guard to ask for money, and the security guard screamed "SHUT THE FU*K UP, AND FU*C OFF". Poor hobo just left.

Next, i went BMX'ing with someone in a poor neighborhood just now, canora. Its famous for bloods and crips and is a run down place, but it has good jumps. Some weird people came in a car and just started screaming jibberish. makes no sense.

That puffer tank made no sense. If i bought a $30,000 car today, and spent $5,000 on upgrades on the engine and frame today, i cant sell the car for $35,000 in 2012. Prices go down over time. sheesh

Speaking of cars...

...drove to a small town with my 12 year old son for his soccer game (they lost, 0-1)...and happened by a vintage car dealer! Stopped to look at his cars...some were just gorgeous! The owner came to talk to us and invited us to the garage to see his collection!

My whole 120G setup only cost me AU$600, thats cannister filter 2 stainless heaters pump decore everything, all brand new, even material for hood and stand, are included in that.
