Loss Of Old Timer!!!

I lost one of the original bow ties this morning. I would have to say he had a good life. Felt bad but I noticed him slowing down the last month. I still have 2 remaining of that species left since my original stocking. I guess I'll have to fly the flag at half mask today. :waveusa: :yellowcry: :teareye:

3 1/2 years old.

That's not very old in fish life. I'm not sure of their life span but I would expect it to be at least 7 years. I should search out lifespans to really find out.

Aw maan... sorry about the fishy! Are you going to replace him (not that HE can be replaced)...

I did replace him with a Diamond Tetra. That will make 6 of that species in the tank. I also purchased 4 more Blue Tetras and 3 Bleeding Heart Tetras also. Going to a ma and pa type fish store this morning. I hope the lady's are working due to the fact the guy that really knows fish gives me the absolute creeps. He acts like one of the actors in one flew over the cooko's nest. Really freaks me out.
