Since all goldfish are the same species - Carassius auratus, they can of course breed.

Isn't this the tank that was already determined to be way too small for even one goldfish? You obviously do not want them breeding.

i dont want them to breed but i still want to know if they could
i normally give the mountain minnows that i breed back to the pet shop

Goldfish are goldfish are goldfish.
It's not interbreeding, just plain old breeding.
But don't do it unless you have LOTS of space for fry. They get big, fast - faster than you can safely sell or give them away.
