First time on here.. today when i woke up, my filter had died sometime during the night and all but one of my goldfish were dead.. I put him in a smaller tank with new treated water (stress zyme/coat, ph up, ammo lock), the levels all look good..

He is swimming around all crazy or just not moving much at all, his fins have developed a reddish hue, but he does respond to feeding and isnt gasping.

Im just wondering if theres anything else i can do to help him get better, or if i should just consider him in hospice... i love the little guy, he was my first. I already nursed him back from popeye/gill disease once and he survived the trauma of last night...

Thanks
Clive

Inspect the inside of your tank. There should be a small gear that powers the battery that you can take out. If you can, you need to clean it with a cloth, toothbrush, etc. This should help the filter and your fish.

Send your little guy my best regards! :(

Do a water change on the original tank and put the fish back in there.
Run an airstone if you can.
You need to fix your filter or get a new one soon. What type is it?
Have you rinsed out the filter lately?
There is an impellor in there that can be removed and hole rinsed as well.
Only use old tank while you are doing a water change to rinse the filter, not tap water.
Plug it back in and try it.That may be the problem.
Why did you add ph up?
