From your pictures you posted, how they are planted looks pretty good. One thing to keep in mind is that with stem plants it is recommended to snip the ends off of them like you would if you were putting them in a flower arrangement to help promote nutrient uptake. Not sure how much this helps as I have forgotten to do this and my plants have turned out alright, but it is something to keep in mind.

I would suggest that you get a root tab to put under the sword as they are root feeding plants and you do not have a nutrient rich substrate. This should offset this problem, and help your sword grow.

Welcome to the wonderful world of plants and enjoy.

ohh ok I will look for it another day... the tablet is for the one with big leaves right? thts the one with roots....
what about the other one.... it has no roots at alllllll........ is it normal?
my tigers are loving it.......
they are nipping the plants like crazy..... at least they stop nipping my angel......
and I really like the way it looks on the tank I will probably get more plants if those work well.....

yes the one with the roots is your sword.

The other one appears to be Hornwort. It feeds from the water column and will develop roots out of the nodes of the leaves. It appears to be normal and healthy.

Once you start putting live plants in, it turns into an addiction..........well.......at least for me it did!

Of course one of the pleasant side effects to this addiction is that your wallet is no longer as heavy to carry around.:wink2:

Seachem Flourish will work fine for your tank and plantload.

another question...
How should I vacuum the tank?? do I remove the plants and then plant them again? or just go around them?

Go around the plants. Once they start growing they will develop root system that you dont want to mess with too often unless you have to move them or remove them.

Yeah, want to just vacuum around the plants.
And if you decided to add more plants in the future, all the stuff that doesn't get vacuumed out will kind of turn into fertilizer (given that you have enough plants to suck up the nitrates).
