Ya, it's been 90 the last couple days, feels like July instead of early April. Supposed to cool down a bit tomorrow, cloudy with t-storms in the afternoon.

It was 85 here yesterday and I wasn't happy about it. I don't like the instant leaps from winter to summer. Supposedly we're in for a cool down which does make me happy.

We had a cold front roll in yesterday, so we've dropped from the 80's to the 70's. Life is hard. :)

I'd say in April it's despicable! This is the third year since records have been kept that the ice has gone from the lake in March. (100 years) Generally the ice doesn't break up until mid April. March in MI is usually a bear! Two years ago we had about 5 ft in one month and this year none at all.

The last week has been all doom and gloom. Wind, rain, cold. Normal April weather, really. You can keep your Canadian snow right there and don't bother shipping it down to me.

It sticks together better when its cold!lol
Also smells better when cold!:19:

We do need the moisture.I am tired of hearing about fire bans and bush fires already. There has been at least a dozen fires up here this year and April is just started!:ssuprised: The ice is even off the lakes more than a month early.
Last year at this time we still had several ft of snow on the ground.
Rain is easier to look at right now!lol

I would so much rather it be cold than hot! Personally I think it's easier to get warm when it is cold out than to get cool when it is hot out. In winter you can walk around all bundled up and be OK-- but in the summer it's so hot that you're uncomfortable no matter what!

Its not My fault! lol
The weather you are getting now is on its way here, only it intensifies as it passes over the Great Lakes.I get the worst of it!

I blame that Elmeanio dude or whatever its name is!

I don't complain about the heat very often.

60 degrees today and rain. Yesterday mid 70's and cut the grass. I wish I lived in the north. Would love to fish and hunt up their. When I was in my 20's I use to go north fishing. Haven't been their for over 30 years. I can remember going fishing up their in June and freezing my but off. We use to rough it so to speak. Rent a cabin with no heat but had a stove and frig. I feel for you though. I could send you a envelope of fresh cut grass though.

We have been having gorgeous weather here for the last month. Now they are calling for snow tonight. Normally I would complain but at this point I will take any moisture I can get for my pastures.

The weather has been odd this year. Wednesday was 90 and sunny, and we even had a big thunderstorm that night. Usually we only get a few 90 degree days...in the middle of summer. Today its down to 40 and raining. Ice out on the big lake usually occurs between the middle of April to the start of may. This year it was early March. We also had a very dry winter while the last 3 years we've had record breaking snow fall

Got down to 32 last night and going to 29 for a low this evening. Mowed grass the other day. Actually called for a chance of snow. If it does, I refuse to use the snowblower again till next year. I'm geared for spring not snow.
