There are always going to be people that do their best to make life a living hell for other people. But sometimes the hell that is freely dished out is out just pure unadulterated laziness.
I'm remaining cryptic for a reason, and I really don't feel any better, but they should / need to be fired!
With that being said, I need to feed the fish brats, clean up lany little messes laying around and get some more yard work done...
:fire:
If you know somebody that is dire need of a good firing, feel free to add them here.

I hear you (I think). Im always cleaning up after peoples messes here at work. They make so many careless mistakes that make my job harder, so I end up fixing them. In my line of work, theres no room for error. Then again, they aren't really mistakes, just plain ol' laziness.

I have a long list of dead weight. However, tables have been turning in my favor lately it seems and they are dropping like flies to my delight. :19:
I tend to get mean and vengeful when I bust my 'ask' and I am the only one who IS. Why keep it in? That's my motto. :rapidfire:
Usually when they figure out everyone is on to them, they either shape up or quit (which is how I prefer it). :ssmile:

working alot now ive had to keep behind people as well, theres genuine i need help which im fine with but i showed one person how to do something, 10 minutes later they did it wrong and didnt care. broke policies a few times as well so of course they got fired, and its hard to get fired from where im working, there actually was one person that was shooting heroin 20 minutes after closing when we were all out of the door, that was a facepalm. fired of course, but thats been the most severe case since ive been there

Sometimes you need to be a little understanding when it comes to laziness. Everyone is lazy to some point when it comes to doing things they do not like to do. If more places went by the "pay them what they're worth" standard, then it wouldn't be so frustrating. Pay the lazy guys less, and pay your hard workers the difference.
I'll tell you what REALLY bugs the ship out of me....
The ones that won't even try to work!!! They could work part-time and contrubute to society by buying their own things.
Instead, they are leaching off of my paycheck so they can go out and buy more Dr. Pepper and cigarettes with the food stamp money. They also get most of their $1200/rent paid. I get stuck with a mediocre house....All because I have a job.
Maybe someone from another country could help me out and answer a few questions.
For an average income, single male with no kids, approx what percentage of the paycheck would go toward taxes?
What is your country's nationwide deficit? (or surplus)
What freedoms do I have that you don't have? (I.E. What's so good about the freedom we have here in the U.S., VS the freedom everyone else has. They do always say that they are going to war to protect out freedom, and not for oil empires.)

I completely understand what you are saying, but I'm not going to respond simply because the answer would venture into politics and we're not allowed to have such conversations here. If you'd like me to PM you with my response to your thoughts, I'll do it this afternoon at some point.
As I said, I was keeping my post vague for a reason and that reason remains. Everybody has lazy days or things that they don't like to do which leads to procrastination, but in my case, the laziness of 2 people is making life around this house hellish.
The good news if there is any to be had is that finally the said problem is being dealt with but it took me thumping my other half over the head with it before he did something about it. It isn't something I can fix, he has to do it.
People don't like it around here when I use the term "Dope Slap" even though it's used in the proverbial sense, but hubby needed one. We had to spend 2 plus hours discussing the very problem because his way of dealing with it was avoiding it. Oddly, he knows that avoidance doesn't solve anything but because of all those mysterious other factors that I cannot and will not discuss, he just figured he'd keep drawing more lines in the sand until the said people went away which won't be for another few years.
So, without going into all those little details that make the whole picture, my rant is up to be interrupted to however one sees fit. It had nothing to do with anybody online whether it be here or anywhere else. I've been dealing with this said BS for years and the final straw finally broke the camel's back.

OOPS. I thought this thread was about jobs in the work force and it seems my posts are not in line with the discussion so I will delete them.

My current job fortunatly has little to do with anyone else in the facility, except for mainly teachers who cannot do their part to maintain control over their class. I guess I could complain about state mandated BS and the inefficiency of my direct coworkers, never have I see a typewritter used in an office anywhere else in the last decade. My secretary still tries to delete files by pointing the mouse curser at them and clicking delete on the keyboard. :hmm3grin2orange:
The area I live in is pretty well known for able bodied people abusing the government assistance programs. I am a single female without kids that makes a fairly decent salary, and I loose a fairly large chunk of it every month due to taxes. I have no reason to ever reproduce as the state has essentially given me a dependant to support with the volume of cuts they take out of my salary, they just want let me claim it on taxes. :14:

Well, I pay 15% income tax and most goods have 15 % VAT on them, except for basic food items.
I have an upper middle income job, which is the norm for a lot of University grads.
I own a house, 2 story 4 bedrooms and most people I know do. 2 vehicles, again like many people.
As for freedom, I can go where I want as long as its public property, vote for who I want to, say what I want, think what I want, read, watch, write, listen to what I want. My country does pretty well and is one of the leading Industrial islands in the Caribbean.
I wish I had easier access to more products right here without having to order them online, but thats something that I can live with.
