AMBER ALERT AMBER ALERT!!!!!!!
NOT HERCULES!!!!!!! I JUST noticed he's not in the tank! He was in my 20g grow-out tank with some blue with black striped babies! ARGHHHHHHHHHHHH!
I recently removed some long plastic plants and threw them into the trash. I went through every single piece of trash (including snot rags....e[Only Registered Users Can See Links.]!) And he was no where to be found!
I checked on the floor everywhere! I even checked a box in the closet where I put some of the plastic plants! NOTHING!
For those of you who don't know who Hercules was....he was one of my bumblebee fry....born without a tail! He would be right in the feeding frenzies with all the other fry! He was a real tiger! So I sold the others, but decided to keep HIM because he was a survivor! He was destined to have his own little special tank and everything!
But alas....he's gone.....sigh....and I don't know what happened to the little feller!
Shame.....damn shame....
RIP little man....where ever you are!
(Let's have a moment of silence please)...
Thanks for coming. Refreshments are at the back of the church...

Sorry for your loss! Must be quite a thing to happen after getting attached to it! On another note, nice to see you still have a sense of humour to lighten the mood!

:( thats horrible, i put a *polypteus*? its apparently the slightly more agressive version of the african rope fish, in my community tank for like 45 minutes because i had grocery shopping to do after fish shopping, 2 of my zebra danios disappeared.... :( they were nice fish, now i ironically have 2 left 1 having no tail lol

Mith, you're sure having a rough time with the fish lately! So sorry for your loss! At least you didn't have to cut his head off because he got sick.

I wish.....there's really not much in the tank for hime to hide in....either he died and was eaten (not likely because the other fry wouldn't be able to eat his bones.... he must have been stuck to one of the plastic plants when I pulled them out. I just can't find his shriveled up little carcus heh.....
oh well, time to move on now shall we?
I like fish, anyone else here like fish? LOL

So sorry about your little fish.I have a little albino cory that was born with just one eye, for about three months all he would do was swim in circles, almost drove me nuts. He finally got big enough for me to see he only had one eye.He doesen't swim in circles much anymore but I sure do love that little guy and would be very sad to lose my little baby.//

Sorry for your loss. It's kinda tough loosing a fish like that. I had a guppy once that had another guppy attached to it. They both lived for about a year. They both grew together and the one on top was bigger and the one on the bottom was smaller. I believe one of the mollies got them.
