Happy Birthday to the late Bobby Darin, one of my dad's favorite singers.

(And to George Lucas, also!:thumb:)

I think Lucas is a genius. Bobby Darin was indeed a great singer (no, I'm not that old, but my grandparents listened to him).

GOOD FOR YOU! I like old big band stuff, that's awesome that someone young isn't afraid to listen to something that is "so uncool".

to tell you the truth, most of the new stuff out there today is garbage. I'm drawn to the older stuff. I could listen to the oldies station alllllllday.

ever hear of sidmark and sunday with sinatra? breakfast with the beatles? the radio today aint ALLL bad, just as long as you know where and when to listen.

Wow, really cool stuff there. Not too many people your age nowadays can appreciate music from back when it was all coming together. I mean, a lot of kids now are like "Sinatra sucks, man. Have you heard the new (insert meaningless band name here)." The funniest thing is when someone is like "hey, have you heard that new band Black Sabbath?"

i tend to appreciate talent, and music with meaning, as opposed to stuff that gets thrown in everybody's face so a record company can make a buck off their newest tool for a year or two. its hard to listen to even the rock stations anymore because of all the new garbage that DOES NOT fit in at all. it needs its own radio station. Nickleback SHOULD NOT be played in conjunction with, say, metallica. AT ALL. ruins the radio listening experience.
