Does anyone actually have a full grown male dovii?

I have read in a lot of places that the male dovii get to be 30" but I have never seen any that were that big. Does anyone have any pictures of a full grown male dovii?

Mine old male passed away at about 16" from unknown complications. He was a beast, but I can hardly call him full grown. My new male is about 5" now and looking great...still far from an adult though.

i have a 8-9inch Dovii, and he is awesome, very aggressive. i have read that 16 inch is the largest they will reach in captivity unless in some kind of super tank 500 gallon +. i would say your standard would only get to about 16inch. i will update pictures of mine from time to time. He is in 150 gallon tank and we will see how big he gets.

I remember my pleco was so big I had to put him in the garbage in a trash bag xD

I intoduced a dovii to one of our ponds a few years ago. I have no idea how big it would be by now, but it has all the food it can eat in there. If they ever empty it, I'll know and get some photos up here.
