Hi,
I live in sunny south Florida.
I am getting back in the hobby that I put my heart and soul in during the early part of this decade. I developed from scratch a 129 gal coral reef tank displayed in my front window. We lived on a cul-de-sac and people would stop their cars and ring our doorbell to look at the tank. I had it for three years, it became magnificent, and alas, I burned out (like I usually do with everything and has a friend take it down and put it in a store as a centerpiece.
I just got a beautiful desk in my home office (I work for myself) and have decided to set up a small tank with a few neons or cardinal tetras. I would like low maintenance and beauty.
I have read a little, but would certainly welcome some ideas from you experts!
From what I have read, I need a tank at lest 24" long, need live plants (could I do artificial?!) and should keep about one fish per gallon.
I have explored google and found a Marineland acrylic Eclipse System 12 (12 gallons), Marineland 28 Euro bio-wheel aquaruim kit (28 gallons-glass bow front), a Sea Clear acrylic 20 gal combo with lights and need Eclipse system 2 to complete, or should I just get a glass 20 gallon 12" x 24" x 16" high and have you suggest filtration, lights, etc!
I anxiously await assistance,
Appreciatively
Any and all help will be appreciated!
