New Betta - before and after pics

Hello all! I thought I'd introduce you to my newest betta. I rescued him today from a pet store betta cup.

I took this photo as soon as I brought him home (still in his betta cup):

And here he is ~5 hours later after some rehab:

He has some fin rot but I'm hoping that continued rehab in warm fresh water with salts and room to swim around in will clear it up shortly.

Nice betta, that is a dermatic change. Thou I really like the color in the first pic. He is still beautiful in both photos.

A wonderful example of what a difference a little big bigger of an aquarium and proper water can do. Very attractive fish.
