Last night I got the blue crayfish for my ten gallon. He(I don't know the sex, habit to say 'he') is settled in and has claimed his little cave. I dropped piece of an algea waffer and looked away for a second. Looked back and all I saw was him settling back in with the wafer. I need to upload the couple of photos I have, he is really blue.

Ok, I uploaded the photos.
This is the tank before I did much to it. The heater is only to keep the tank at about 68F.

Thanks. He is really blue, and the price wasn't bad. I saw some today, maybe about two inches. And thier color was really bad, bearly blue at all for $20. Mine is about four inches, and bright!

Absolutely gorgeous!
I wonder how large a fish you could mix with one so that neither would attempt to munch on the other ....

I have some white clouds in with mine, and a couple feeder guppies. The fish spend most of the time up top, and they are cheap to replace if needed. I would worry that with larger fish, even if they can't eat the cray, can pick at it when it moults. Even my barbs could pick it apart when it moults.
