I saw the Weirdest aquarium yesterday.

All canadians know the store, "Canadian tire". In the garden dept., theres something called a "pop-u-quarium. Its a 28G chunk of plastic that springs up and makes a clear viewing area aquarium. Cool idea for a couple of gondfish outdoors.

40$ CDN, i might buy one

I couldn't find anything in CT's online catalog. I feel like having a hot dog, so I think I'm gonna run down there and take a peek ... :ezpi_wink1:

Well...I went running to CT...fully prepared to buy it...

...looked at it...pondered it...

...and decided I could spend my money better elsewhere...

But it could be fun...

lol, good point. i already blew 50$ today at petsmart on a couple of red zebras, 4 corkscrew val. plants, bubble stone, and scraper.

1 Veggie clip...or 4
New Thermometre for 25g tank
Budgie pellets
Budgie seed
Kitty litter
Maybe a dog collar for my American Bulldog

As for the fish tank, having goldfish in a nonfiltered tank in direct sunlight is just asking for a tank of algae. By the way they say "great summer activity for the whole family" it sounds like you are supposed to setup the tank, put in the fish, then take it all down for the night.....lol. Seriously, buying that thing is just shooting yourself in the foot.

Well...it doesn't have to have fish in it...you can...as the picture on the box shows...fill it with rocks and have some plants in it...

I actually have something like that in my backyard...a mini-pond...maybe a 30g tub...

...another reason I didn't go for the Pop-Up...
