I have 2 tanks and I am trying to plan what I want to add to them in the future. I'v been researching online, but I wanted to get real opinions in relation to the current fish I have and size of my tank. My tanks currently are:

30 Gallon
6 Black Harlequin Rasbora
6 Glowlight Tetra
3 Rummynose Tetra
1 Zebra Nerite Snail

10 Gallon
3 Red Wag Platy (1 M, 2 F)

For my 30 gallon I was thinking about Keyhole Cichlids, I wanted to get the biggest fish I could without getting the rest of my fish terrorized. I was not sure if any of my fish would be too small to have with a Keyhole. I also wasn't sure if I should get a single one or get a pair because I read they get mildly aggressive when breeding and I don't want any of my other fish taking a beating, but I also don't want a lonely fish. If I was to get a Keyhole does anyone have any suggestions as far as tank layout goes (plants, hiding places, etc)? My tank is lightly planted, but I don't have that much experience with laying out an aquarium.

For the 10 gallon I don't have any ideas of what to add yet. I was wondering if there was any kind of fish that wouldn't eat the Platy fry if they were to ever have any. I'd rather give them away than them have no chance of life and get eaten in the small 10g tank. I was also thinking of separating the male from the females so they wouldn't breed, but do you think the male would be bummed being the only Platy in my other tank? And do you think the females would be fine being only 2 of their kind?

Thanks in advance for any feedback, I'm new at this, but am having a blast watching all these guys swim around.

A group of 6 pygmy corydoras would work in your 10g.

For your ten, even the platies will eat their own fry. If you are unwilling to let some get eaten you will quickly be over run with fry. They are not always easy to find new homes for, even if you give them away. You could remove the male, like you said. Then you could get another female platy or some panda or dwarf cories and a betta. In your 30, you should up your school of rummynose tetras and one cichlid should be fine. I actually have a female krib and female convict in with my ruby barbs in my 30. They are fine by them selves and never bother eachother. The con staked out one piece of wood, the krib, another.
