Will different tetras school together?

Are there any types of tetras that will school together - ie will neon and glowlight tetras school together? or will neons and cardinals school together? etc

I've heard, can't say for sure, that cardinals and rummynose will school together.

Most species do not school together.

Some *will* but it will stress them not to have a school of thier own kind. Stressed fish are more prone to illness and diseases.

Agreed, the cases you hear of a confused fish schooling with others not of its kind are exceptions, not the rule. Dont expect any different species to school

The same species is much better. Happier fish that way.
