My lfs just got some golden veil ram angels, and i bought a pair, male and female. Im just wondering if theyre hard to breed, and how to go about it. I havent bred fish for about 3 years, so this should be interesting

Never heard of ram angels but have heard of goldens. I have two.
There is no way you can tell what sex they are and no quarantee they will mate if you lucked out and did get a pair. The angels pick who their mate will be and do their own chosing.

the worker said i got a pair, but what do they know.
Are goldens peaceful like bolivians?

Since they're cichlids, we never know. They can not be sexed until they mate.

The lfs had 10 of them mixed with small fish, so i think i can add some tetras and shrimp to the tank.

Cool. Thanks for the help.
One more question...
Do golden rams eat/tear up live plants?

Angels like plants and don't bother them. Give them area's for hiding and sleeping and open area's for swimming.
These are such odd natured fish. The largest one I have that has never gotten along with anything is now swimming happily with the smaller male. Who would have thunk it! I plopped the male in the tank with the large one when my tank leaked and they are very happy together. I thought this large one from the way it acted was a male but apparently it's just a very aggressive female.
