heyy guyss.... hows everything???? I was out for a while cause I m working alot now....(MORE MONEY FOR MY FISHIES) lol
anyways.....
since I have less time now I was wondering how long u guys wait before adding the water to the tank...
I mean I prepare my water on a different container... put the dechlorinator and then the next day I do the water change.....
how long should I wait after putting the dechlorinator... IF I need to wait any time.....
and if not.... could I do the water change.... add tap water straight to the tank and then add the dosage of dechlorinator needed for tht ammount added?? tht would make it alot easyer for me and would allow me to make way bigger water changes when needed....
thanks.......

Good to see you again.

I am not saying I do it right, but as long as it takes to walk from the sink to the tank, I have had no fish deaths that I can think of, within a few days of a water change, so I am guessing this is working.

Yes currently I do.

Over here it is called water ager or water conditioner.

Also check the thread I started that you got me thinking about, regarding aging water in drums, have not tried that yet, but as my addicion grows, it may become nesasary.

I put the water in a 5 gallon rubbermaid container and add the dechlorinater and then add it to the tank right after that. No problems so far.
