My tank is a small 10 gallon with a breeding population of fancy guppies, plus 2 albino cats. It has both undergravel filtration and a small canister fliter. Will probably upgrade to a 20 later on. I have a 55 gallon as well , but always a big production to clean. Have cats, too!
