Which of these for the 2.5 gal. betta tank? I am just looking for more light. I've got a couple low-light plants in there- anacharis, anubias and java fern.

since you have plants get the colormax .

I agree with dane get the colormax, it has a 6700K rating which is what you want for plants.

If you can go for the above in T8's, forget t5's as t8 last longer and are cheaper to replace

The lights are Mini CFL's not fluorescent tubes.
