Well, after weeks of waiting, it happened. The day I got some supplies for my 5 gallon and put her in was the day she gave birth. There was about 15-20 in all. It's hard to count them. It took about 2 or 3 hours for her to give birth. She is now back in the main tank. I've never seen her so thin. Since I bought her, she was preggo. But right when I put her back in, the male platy tries (or might've succeed) to mate with her. So, I might just have another batch of fry in a month or two.

Well, first things first. The official count was 16 babies. I plan to keep 4, and give away the remaining 12 to a pet store or cull some. I wish I could sell some but I have nowhere to do.

Its difficult to sell livebearers.
I give hundreds every month to my lfs and only get a thank you.I get no discounts off anything .
I know they make up to 5 bucks each for them.lol
