I was told that these were Peruvian, but I'm not sure.

i find it difficult to tell them apart because after all, Peruvian Angels are nothing more than Pterophyllum scalare, just like a Silver Angel, but from a different river system (i.e. in Peru). both of your angels look to me to be domestic strains. the one on the left looks to be a Zebra Pearlscale (Z/Z - p/p) and the one on the right a Wide-Fin Silver with a single dose of pearlscale (+/p). in other words, I dont think they're Peruvians, or at least not direct offspring of wild peruvians.

this is an old picture of my juvenile peruvian.

notice the speckles on the sides. by now they're even more pronounced. your fish look older than mine, yet show now speckles at all in the picture?

MCHKiller has a couple of wild Peruvians if I'm not mistaken. There's a thread around here with pictures.

My own angels are Guyana, had originally wanted the Peru strain but ended up with these :22:

In any case your fish are a P.scalare...not a pure wild strain as they do have quite heavy dorsal fins and that one has an extra stripe. I would say a mix of wild/domestic blood at most...personally they look like a pure domestic fish to me. The 3 striped one is usually more or less referred to as a zebra and the other as a silver :11:
