Well, we had the second to last concert of the year, and it was AMAZING! Despite the fact we had to play in the "concrete cave" (thats what we call our B ball gym, because its made of concrete and echos like crazy), we sounded awesome! I taped two songs for you, (rather, my mom taped 2 songs), and i got the Idea from Jeff! Here they are, i photobucketed them
American Escape
This is the percussion ensemble. I really like this song, and i play the quads on it. If you cant find me, which you probobly cant, look on the wall. You will see in huge letterrs "Bishop Carroll". Look under the last "o" and you will see me with a set of quads on. The sound is kinda muddy, partly because of the concrete cave, and partly because i am using a crappy digital camera. Its entertaining though. Here is the Link:

Africa:Ceremony, Song, and Ritual
This is Tied for my favorite concert song of all time. It is written with three different traditional african songs. The only one i can remember is the song to Shango, the god of thunder. This is also the song that got me an outstanding soloist award, along with a standing ovation, at our last competition. I am sitting down, so it is difficult to pick me out. Its easier to see me at around the 6:00 minute mark. i am the crazy guy sitting down in the back row head banging. If you notice, the blond headed kid ,noah, does a pretty hilarious little dance in the last movement. Here is the link:

Enjoy! And if you do enjoy, thank jeff, because he gave me the idea.
