We got this cap back last July as a rescue. It was being attacked by an acro at a friends house. It has since made a full recovery and is growing like a weed now

July 24th, notice the dead area where it was attacked. This was also when it was under t-5's

Febuary 19th 2010

Its been in our new reef under halides since December and its shown a ton of growth. It also has a purple rim

Here it is today, I can almost watch it grow. Notice how its filled in the gap already between the two halves

Very Nice! That is a beautiful variety. I love all of the texture.

I would love to keep some caps, but they aren't practical in small tanks. They grow out and shade everything underneath :(

Thank you coach, Its hard to find a spot for them in a larger tank too, lol. Right now its on the back side of a rock. I also have another nice cap that I've got on the sand for now because I can't seem to find a good place on the rock

Impressive growth! Thank you:ssmile:
