I'm in the process of aquiring another 55 gallon tank. I'm thinking about my options as far as stocking is concerned. I already have 5 guppies that will be occupying the tank, my thoughts at this point are to get 4-5 angelfish, a dozen cory cats, 3-4 dario botia loaches, and 8-10 glass cats to join them. Does this sound like a good mix? I know that angels need to be carefully picked and possibly 1-2 taken back to cut down on aggression and that's no problem...my lfs guy is awesome.
Also would 5-6 tiger barbs go with this stocking (with or without the guppies)?

The glas catfish are best kept in a well-planted tank with relatively quiet tankmates. The angels might work, but not with guppies and tiger barbs. The angels will eat the guppies, the barbs will nip the angels fins, and the it would all be too much for the glass catfish.

Angles and guppies don't mix, tiger barbs and angles don't mix and tiger barbs and glass cats don't mix. I have kept glass cats with tetras and they are fine. I find that once they settle in they are not shy at all and butt right in at feeding time. Others have not had the same experiance with them thou.

Angels, glass cats and corys might work. Probably need a tetra or something in the mix.

Ok so no tiger barbs or guppies. Would the loaches be ok with cories, angels, a dozen or so tetras, and glass cats?
I keep 100 (estimated) guppies with glass cats in a 75gallon. (I have 32 glass cats in that tank) Its a fine combo IMO.

Sounds like a cool set-up...you don't wanna post a couple pics on here do ya? I love seeing large amounts of glass cats. I've had luck keeping angels and guppies before, I'll most likely try the combo and adjust accordingly.
Angels wouldn't be a problem with loaches though would they?
